The guarantee is our promise that we will find them a home, and that no adoptable pet will be put down. No animal is euthanized for space reasons or because they have been with us too long. For nearly a century and a half, our innovative, science-based leadership programs have been First to Serve in promoting and nurturing the bonds between animals and humans. Hope’s Fund is a specialized fund that holds a special place in the hearts of the staff and volunteers here at the Toledo Humane Society. This restricted fund allows donors to designate money directly to saving the lives of animals brought to THS needing costly specialized treatment, long-term care, and rehabilitation.

Mammal rehabilitation has resumed at DCHS’s Wildlife Center this summer. Highlights include red bats and a baby bobcat. Meet adoptable animals during this Adoption Event at Mounds Pet Food Warehouse on Stoughton Road.

When Bobe became ill and Steve struggled to find food that would keep him healthy, we were there to provide this incredible family with free food through our Pet Pantry Program. When Reese first arrived at HSSV through one of our rescue partners, he was too fearful to be touched or even walk on a leash.
